PRE-COATING ALL FRP PANELS WITH OUR SEALING RESIN IN OUR SHOP. SUREBOND CAN “SUPPLY ONLY” THE PANELS, OR “SUPPLY AND INSTALL” THE PRE-COATED PANELS.
REJUVENATION OF INSTALLED FRP PANELS IN GOOD SHAPE CAN OCCUR, YEARS AFTER ORIGINAL INSTALLATION.
This scaled model is a 100% sealed with Silikal® sealer resin. All vertical corners and joints: permanently sealed. The FRP is also been sealed over the entire sheet before installation. We have coved on the bottom on top of our Silikal® R62 flake floor. 100% sealed, permanently. This should extend the life of the FRP dramatically, and reduced the risk of de-lamination from the wood substrate behind.
Left side of image is the FRP from the factory. Right side of image show the coverage depth of the Silikal® on the FRP panel. We can coat the joints days, weeks, months later once the FRP is installed in the final plant location.
