This was an easy build for SureBond, with a new slab that slab was perfectly sloped. The flooring was specified by the client as SILIKAL® R61 CQ High Anti Slip for Plant Area and Silikal R62 Micro-flake for the Admin area. The client wanted the Admin area to be easier to clean, due to trackage from the plant to admin.
Damage can occur during construction. During construction, the harvest floor had a 4 impact holes that penetrated through the finished Silikal® R61 floor into the concrete. We fixed the holes in about 1 hour. Months later, we cannot even see the repair location. These repairs are permanent, as promised.
Client and staff are very happy with the floor. Floor is easy clean AND non slip. Cleans all harvest materials on floor with a hose: no pressure washer required. This floor will easily be in operation for 20 years, with maintenance for abuse.
Animal Welfare Flooring was included in the harvesting area, as it helps in keeping the animal calm. SureBond has much experience in Production and Processing Animal Welfare.
Surface prep of new, properly sloped concrete. HEPA 11 vacuums for silica dust control are only used for our SureBond employees, Trades, and Client safety.
Our "finishing scarifying machine" for surface prep. (We have a MUCH larger scarifier for demo of failed polyurethane floors.) We always cross-cut scarify slabs for food processing plants in high compressive load / high water environments.
SureBond preps and permanent seals vertical concrete walls with impervious Silikal® RU380 and R71 resins.

SureBond Silikal Floor integration with ACO Drain. Drain is designed to take heavy wheeled traffic, non-slip, and easy-to-sanitize the drain interior of solids through easy removal of grate.
SureBond's Master Installer coving work using Silikal HK21 coving materials. Coving is typically 10 cm high, but can be done 15 cm on request.
Harvesting area liquids area recovery. No pressure washing required for many years. A squeegee and brush might be used from time to time.
